After downloading and installing the Re-Installer for Quicktime 7.0.4 -> 7.0.1 from Apple
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime701reinstallerforquicktime704.html
CocoThumbX works as it should.
Version 2.2: 11.01.2006
- This update is only for those who have installed QuickTime 7.0.4 and still want to use CocothumbX.
I've disabled that CocoThumbX uses threads if QuickTime 7.0.4 installed.
This update is not localized. Supported language is english only.
I'm very sorry for this step, and i do not know if Apple change the behavior back that Quicktime
can be used in a secondary thread.
Remember this is a quick hot-fix and has no new official features.
- Note : If you have Flip4Mac installed. CocothumbX can create icons from WMV files, but crashes
if it want to release the QTMovie object. This seems to be a problem with Flip4Mac or Quicktime.
Quicktime Player itself crashes if you close the window which is playing a WMV file.
